Someday I would like to...

• Learn more about and become certified in Reading Recovery from trained specialists 

• Present at the Illinois Reading Conference (***Update: IRC proposal accepted and my presentation in Peoria, Illinois back in October 2015 was a success!) ***Bonus: I'll also be presenting at the iEngage EdTech Conference in May 2015! (Update: My iEngage presentation back in May 2015 was a success as well !  The 2nd Annual iEngage-Berwyn Conference will be coming April 29-30, 2016!  Click HERE for more information.)

• Open a Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) store (***Update: Opened on July 30, 2014- but no products have been added yet.  LOL) The products I've created thus far have been added to my TPT store as of August 14, 2014! Yay! :)

• Create products for my TPT store that can be used by teachers worldwide (***UPDATE: I've already started uploading products so check out my TpT store to see what's happening!)

• Begin using Social Media as on-demand PD targeted at improving my knowledge as a Reading Specialist (***Update: Ive started an Instagram, as well as a Twitter and Facebook account, to learn from others on a daily basis.  I absolutely love it!)

• Find additional platforms to connect with Reading Specialist and Literacy Coaches (***Update: I'm now part of The Reading Crew on Facebook, which has allowed me to *virtually meet*, share ideas and blog hop with 30+ fabulous literacy teachers from around the states!)  

• Attend the Teachers Pay Teachers Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada to learn more about resource development and being a Premium Teacher-Author (***UPDATE: The TpT Conference in Las Vegas was a blast!  I met so many fantastic teacher-prenuers and learned tons!) 

• Attend a literacy retreat to learn from experts who are passionate about literacy (***UPDATE: The Literacy Retreat 2015 was outstanding! Click HERE to see the topics and HERE to read my posts about each topic.  I will also be attending the upcoming Literacy Retreat 2016, so stay tuned for details!)
